Karen Irene Clemmons, 52, passed away February 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a Barstow resident for 39 years. Karen was born September 21, 1962, in Harbor City, California to her parents James and Mary Clemmons.
Karen grew up in Simi Valley, California and moved to Barstow in 1976. She was devoted to her significant other, Martin Reeck until he passed away in 2012. Karen was Miss Barstow in 1981. She owned Looney Tunes record store at the Barstow Mall.
Karen worked as a waitress at Top Deck and Idle Spurs restaurants, worked at Calico Ghost town, and in Dr. Chow's office. Karen loved her family; she babysat her nieces and nephews, and she spent her days taking care of her significant other Marty.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents and significant other, Martin "Marty" Reeck. Survivors include her brothers James, Paul (Cindy), and her sister Lynn (Paul) Sanetti, the Reeck family and many nephews and nieces.
