James Jackson Atchley, 60, New Hope, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the New Hope Funeral Home with Paul Stone and Ollie Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Atchley; three daughters, Lana Hicks, Peggy Riggins and Megan Atchley, all of New Hope; his stepmother, Pearl Cox of Woodville; 11 brothers, Bobby Atchley of New Hope, Emmett G. Atchley of Gurley, Marvin Odell Atchley, D. W. Atchley, Jackie Atchley, Jimmy Atchley and Ricky Atchley, all of Paint Rock, Therman Atchley of Virginia, Calvin Atchley of Birmingham and Lonnie Atchley of Arab; 7 sisters, Novella Satterwhite of Virginia, Mary Alice Culver of Paint Rock, Myrtle Glover of Albertville, Shirley Glover and Patricia Hutchens, both of New Hope, Lisa Campbell of Woodville and Charsley Harvin of Maysville; and three grandsons.
