American actress and lounge singer. Recorded many songs.
Performed with Laurel & Hardy in The Bull Fighter in 1945 and with Edgar Bergen in Song of the Open Road in 1944.
Played at the Schubert Theatre and many clubs including the Rio Bamba, La Conga, & Slapsy Maxie's in 1939 to 1946. Greenwich Village Inn Apr 1947.
In 1938 she was voted Miss Syria with a trophy presented by actor Tyrone Power.
Lorraine received a plaque from actress Bette Davis for her work at the Hollywood Canteen during WWII and she was featured in a Life Magazine article in the May 5, 1947 issue.
