Miss Julia Nelson daughter of J.H. and Emer Nelson departed this
life at the home of her parents on West Broadway at 10 o'clock a.m.,
April 24, 1909, in the very bloom of her womanhood, in her 18th
year.
She was born at Fox, Okla., Feb. 3, 1891 ........by a severe case of
penumonia April 5 and the physicians were summoned and all possible
aid given. She had lived an innocent and unpretentional life and
said she was ready to go and was not afraid to die. The funeral
services were held at the house and conducted by Rev. Farrington at
2 o'clock Sunday afternoon after which the remains were taken to the
city cemetery and laid to rest. The grave was covered with many
beautiful flowers as the last sad respect and sad goodbye that could
be expressed by her many bereaved friends.
