Grace Adkins was born in Childersburg, AL. on November 15, 1929 and went home to be with her Lord on February 5, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker and a faithful member of First Baptist Church Center Point where she taught a ladies Sunday school class for more than thirty years. Later, she became a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jasper Harlan Brooks and Mary Edna Books; five sisters; husband Kendall Adkins. She is survived by her daughter Jo Stewart (David); son James Adkins; grandchildren Angel Bui (Tony), Richard Adkins (Jenny), and Steven Stewart (Naomi); great grandchildren Amelia Stewart, Arden Stewart, Nathaniel Stewart, Anthony Bui, and Brandon Bui.

The family wishes to thank the staff at TLC Nursing Facility and Enhabit Hospice for their compassionate care.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Bro. Herman Pair presiding. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Big Oak Ranch, 250 Jake Mintz Road, Gadsden, AL 35905-9906
