Irene 'Tootsie' Kiker
ANSON - Irene "Tootsie" Kiker, 87, died Friday, December 5, 2003, at an Abilene hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2003, at the Roby Baptist Church, with Douglas Browning officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Born April 2, 1916, in Fisher County, Tootsie was a daughter of the late Guss Davis and Maude (Wright) Jarnagin. She married Thurman George "Jack" Kiker March 27, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1965. Tootsie was a member of Roby Baptist Church and moved to Anson from Roby in 1997.
One daughter, Charlotte Ragan; ten brothers; and two sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Douglas Browning of Anson; six grandchildren, Pam, Elaine, Jackie, Darian, Layne, and Lance; and ten great-grandchildren.
