Vester Timothy (Tim) Blevins,
28, of Oneida, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, August 7, 1988, at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Fetterman Blevins; his grandparents, Rev. Roy Blevins and Delphia Ellis Blevins, and Espy Fetterman; and one aunt, Zelma Blevins Carter. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church for several years. He is survived by his grandmother, Hazel Smith Fetterman of Oneida; his father, Vester E. Blevins and his step-mother, Vina Winchester Blevins of Hill Top, Ky.; two sisters: Susan Bedwell and husband, Jerry of Knoxville, and Vickie Rowe and husband, Howard of Hixson; one niece, Katie Rowe of Hixson; one nephew, Benjamin Bedwell of Knoxville; one uncle, Sherman Fetterman and wife, Wanda of Oneida; one step-sister, Myra Keith and husband, Dean of Hill Top, Ky.; two step-brothers: Roger Wayne New of Whitley City, Ky., and Chris New of Hill Top, Ky.; three cousins; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dale Smith officiating. Burial was in the Smith-Forbus Cemetery.
