Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mama, Mamaw, Aunt and Friend, Mary Marguerite Kiker Trammell, passed from this life into her heavenly home on July 23, 2022, at the age of 99. She was born July 1, 1923, in Schlater, Mississippi, to Jeff Davis Kiker and Mary Linebarger Kiker. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Walter Rex Trammell, her parents, her three sons Rex Davis Trammell, James Stephen (Steve) Trammell and Jimmy Lee Trammell, and two brothers Lamar Kiker and Jim Kiker.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Donnie) Martin of Bentonia, and daughters in law, Helen F. Trammell and Linda T. Trammell. Her grandchildren: Debbie Gainey, Rob (Beth) Trammell, Chris (Marci) Trammell, Stephen (Chandra) Trammell, J.E.B. (Becky) Trammell, Keith (Kim) Martin, Jeff (Kim) Martin, Shane (Kristy) Trammell, Alison (Sean) King, Alicia (J.J.) Dunn, and Sheri (Kevin) Anders. Twenty-four Great grandchildren, four Great Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Trammell did not leave a list of accolades and accomplishments. She left a legacy. She left an example. She showed us how to live, how to work, how to serve and how to love.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until to 11 a.m. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday July 26th all at Stricklin King Funeral home in Yazoo City. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
