Son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred PRESCOTT. It's presumed that the reported age at time of death (21 years) should actually be 21 months.

Mary Jane Galer's "COLUMBUS, GA: Lists of People, 1828-1852, and Sexton's Reports to 1866" (2000), p. 243, shows: A. PRESCOTT'S child was born in Georgia, died aged 21 years [sic] of dysentery and was buried 12 JUN 1864 (from "April 1 to July 1, 1864, the Sexton presented the following report," dated 04 JUL 1864. The sexton then was Robert Thomas SIMONS). John H. Martin's "The Making of a Modern City: Columbus, Georgia, 1827-65," Volume II (1875), p. 172, reports a child of Alfred PRESCOTT.

This grave is evidently not identifiably marked.
