Cecilia R. Judd, born in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Mary (Garbowicz) Ratajczyk, passed away February 3, 2023, after a short illness. In her younger years, she loved dancing the Polka, tending to her garden—especially roses, flowers, veggies--, yearly family vacations, and cooking delicious meals for her family. She also worked outside the home for many years. Reading mystery novels, watching crime shows on TV, enjoying different ice cream venues, and spending time with family were some of her favorite things to do in her later years. She was proud of both her children, but her greatest joys were her two grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her daughter Susan (Hal) Dickens and Thomas Judd (Ying Xu); grandson Michael Dickens, PharmD and Anna Judd. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas; her parents; her brother John; and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation Tuesday February 7, 2023 at 10am at Kolssak Funeral Home followed by a Life Celebration Service at 11am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Maryhill Cemetery.
