Sally June Barber, 80, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on November 16, 1942 in Paris to her parents, Pink Marion and Ida Rose (Gabbard) Russell.
Sally was always known for her witty humor and her beautiful smile. She competed in the Miss Paris pageant it its early days. Sally was also known for being a hard worker. She worked many years alongside her husband in their automotive repair business. Sally also loved photography and enjoyed taking school portraits for local schools. She volunteered as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and she always lived, laughed, and loved.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Isaiah (ID) Russell, Pink (Boots) Russell, Jr., James (JB) Russell, Gerald (Joe) Russell and Jerry Russell and six sisters, Doris Hatcher, Dessie Appleton, Florene Young, Wanda Melton, Ann Alston and Helen Smith.
She is survived by one son, Jeff Barber of Tyler, Texas; two grandchildren, Cameron Barber and Kaylin Barber and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Jimmy Russell. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Hatcher, Kenneth Miller, Keith Robberson, Errik Ellington, Justin Pfeiffer and Eric Mikles.
