Having placed his faith in our Lord and Savior earlier in life, Clay entered into the joy of his Master on June 21, 2012. He will be remembered as "Selfless with a heart of gold, and a heart for God." "He was a fisher of men and a friend to those in need." Born in Barstow on July 25, 1974, Clay was a graduate of Barstow High School (class of 1993) and lived his entire life here. He began his employment with BNSF Railway in 1994 and worked within the Barstow Classification Yard as a car inspector, serving 18 years of continuous service.

Clay was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and was baptized in the church on January 30, 2008. He was also called by God to serve in several church programs including "Celebrate Recovery," and "The Office of Helps." Clay loved reading the Holy Bible, and enjoyed other free time as a mountain biker, snowboarder, cooking a great meal and entertaining friends.

Clay is survived by his daughter Kaylee Nichole Dilbeck of Phoenix, AZ., his parents Michael and Donna Dilbeck of Barstow, CA., a brother Michael Dilbeck Jr. of Yucaipa, CA., a sister Dana Clem of Junction City, KS., brothers Dean, Lane and Luke Dilbeck all of Barstow, CA., 13 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
