Raymond worked hard all of his life. He spent many years working and building mobile homes and cabinets. In his later years, he enjoyed being retired, sitting outside and living in peace. He also enjoyed visits with old friends and lots of storytelling. He kept the cabinets and freezers stocked with snacks for his grandchildren. At the age of 7, he suffered the loss of his father and was raised under the watchful eye of his mother, Lula, and older brother, Paul. He sent them both off to Heaven in his lifetime. Raymond also joins two of his grandsons that made it to Heaven first.
He will be missed by his wife of many years, Margie; son, Merle; daughters, Juanita and Loretta; eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at his home Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5:30-7:30. His family requests no flowers. Cremations arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
