LEO D. MESSER, 68, of Millville, died Friday in the South Jersey Hospital System, Millville Division.

Mr. Messer was born in Waynesville, N.C., and was a Millville resident for more than 50 years.

He was a retired forklift operator for the Armstrong Cork Co. in Millville, where he worked for 24 years.

Mr. Messer was a member of Local 257 of the Glass, Plastics, Pottery and Allied Workers Union.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Millville.

Surviving are his wife, Edith; a son, Daniel of Bridgeton; a daughter, Shirley Tozer of Millville; five sisters, Sarah Jane Phillips of Millville and Bertha Conard, Fronie Phillips, Alvie Rose and Edith Presly, all of Waynesville; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the First Assembly of God Church, Millville. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Christy Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Donations may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, 1700 Wheaton Ave., Millville 08332.
