He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna Mae Boblitt Cheatham; two sons, James A. (Lou Ketta) Cheatham and Stuart Cheatham; a daughter, Bonnie Cheatham; a brother, Bobby Cheatham; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
