Graveside services with military honors for Matthew Wayne Spencer, 49, of Austin will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday September 17, 2007 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Father Bo Townsend officiating.

Mr. Spencer died Tuesday in a Temple hospital.

He was born in Tampa, Florida to Robert Vernon Spencer and Phyllis Greenia Spencer. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Christophers Episcopal Church in Oak Hill and worked in the automotive industry.

He was preceded in by death by his father Robert Vernon Spencer.

Survivors include his daughter Crystal Shannon Moreno and her husband Mario of Austin; his mother Phyllis Spencer of Oak Hill; his brother Richard Spencer of Oak Hill; his sister Cheryl Spencer and her husband James Goolsby of Roundrock; three grandchildren Matthew Moreno, Mario Moreno Jr., and Ciara Moreno; two nieces Nicole Nejtek and Phylicia Nejtek; one nephew Robert Goolsby; his ex wife Shirley Spencer of Austin.

Memorials may be made to the Liver Foundation.
