Angel Benavidez
Angel Heliodoro "Angel Baby" Benavidez, 32, a resident of Las Vegas for three years and a previous resident of Barstow for 25 years and, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002. Born Dec. 28, 1968 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico, he was a crew leader at a department store in Las Vegas. His interests were mechanics and helping others fix their cars. He was a graduate of Barstow High School and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Sara Moreno of Las Vegas; sons, Miguel Angel Benavidez, Xavier Ceasar Benavidez, Angel De Jesus Benavidez and Angelo Joseph Benavidez of Las Vegas; father, Jose Angel Benavidez of Barstow; mother, Maria Lupe Benavidez of Barstow; brothers, Jorge E. Benavidez of Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico, Robert Benavidez and his wife Blanca of Victorville, Kenny Benavidez of Barstow; sisters, Jacqueline Benavidez and her husband Wilson Lazaro and Marlene S. Benavidez of Barstow; aunt and uncle, Josue and Lupita Saucedo of Las Vegas; nine nephews and nieces and many cousins and other relatives that loved him.
