Born April 23, 1884, Waynesboro, Miss., to Niels C. and Anna C. Easterling Peterson. Married Orilla Brown April 13, 1910, in Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Feb. 10, 1956. Farmer and sheep man. When a young man, was member of Wayne Orchestra in Wayne County. Survivors: sons, daughters, Mrs. A. H. (Vida) Sawyer, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Ralph, and Mrs. William (Pauline) Snodgrass, Anchorage, Alaska; Wayne, and Mrs. Bruce (Lorraine) White, Ogden; Mrs. John (Carma) Wilkinson, Spring Valley, Calif.; Frank, and Mrs. Gerald (Marjean) Hickman, Salt Lake; Ray, Las Vegas, Nev.; 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Henry, Salt Lake; half-sister, Mrs. Mary Stewart, Salt Lake; half-brothers, Del, Salt Lake, and Hans, Lehi. Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., Loa LDS Stake Tabernacle, Loa. Friends may call at 4750 S. State, Murray, Sunday from 7-9 p.m., and at the Loa Tabernacle Monday 11 a.m. to time of services. Burial, Loa Cemetery.
