In Darling, Wed. June 20th (1906), Margaret Wark, relict of the late James King, aged 80 years. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1826, she came with her parents to Canada, settling in Darling Twp. At the age of 16 years, she married James King. He died eleven years ago. Fourteen children were born to them. Six of these died and the remaining eight reside in different parts of Canada. Tom, and Warden, on the old homestead; James, John & Albert, in BC; Lizzie (Mrs. Ed McMunn), Clayton; Tena (Mrs. Headrick), Algoma; and Grace (Mrs. Geo. Keating), also of Algoma. Burial in the family plot on the homestead.
