"RANCH HAND BURNED IN TEXAS PRAIRIE FIRE"
Plainview, Texas, March 24, --A prairie fire on the Tony Chisholm ranch, 12 miles west of Hale Center, was believed under control late Friday night after one person had been critically burned and ranch properties threatened.
R. R. Fulfer, foreman of the ranch, was burned about the face, body and arms. Ranch hands were scouring the smoke-screened pastoure Friday night in an effort to ascertain whether there had been livstock losses.
