Mary A. Howe, age 64, of Council Bluffs passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her home.
Mary was born on March 4, 1958 in Council Bluffs to the late Wayne and Ferne (Peterson) Fritz. She graduated from Oakland High School in 1976. Mary married Jeff Howe on June 10, 1995. She was the owner and operator of Bella's Place Art Gallery in the Old Market in Omaha. Mary was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Oakland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Clausen in 2013.
Mary is survived by her husband, Jeff Howe of Council Bluffs; brothers, John and Sandy Fritz of Colo, Iowa; Fred and Sharon Fritz of Oakland, Iowa; brother-in-law, Doug Howe (Cindy), Columbus, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Aimee and Jim Canada of Kansas City, Kansas; Tracy Dreessen of Oakland; Adam and Erica Fritz of Papillion, NE.; Jeromy and Angie Fritz of Nevada, Iowa; Troy and Sara Clausen of Nevada, Iowa; James and Molly Fritz of Ames, Iowa; Pete and Tanya Clausen of Ames, Iowa; Kelli and Josh Baker of Council Bluffs; Jeff and Autumn Clausen of Tucson, AZ.; Matt Fritz of Dallas Center, Iowa, Andrew Howe of Westminster, Colorado and Blake Howe of Malvern, Pennsylvania.
