OBITUARY for Ross B. Andrus
October 31, 1983 - February 18, 2017

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Ross B. Andrus, age 33, who died on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Church Point, Louisiana.

Entombment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum in Scott.

Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Joni Hamilton, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "Amazing Grace", "On Eagles' Wings", "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "I Can Only Imagine".

Survivors include his wife, Ashley Andrus of Scott, LA.; one daughter, Madison Marie Andrus; one son, Jacob Benjamin Andrus; his parents, Marcus Andrus and Lana Hebert Andrus; one brother, Christopher Andrus and his wife, Nichole; his paternal grandmother, Rena Andrus; his maternal grandmother, Marie Hebert; and nieces and nephews, Ethan Guilbeau, Riley Guilbeau, Hunter Andrus and Leah Ardoin.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd Jerry Andrus and his maternal grandfather, Dallas Joseph Hebert.

Ross Benjamin Andrus was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. He worked as a machinist in the oil and gas industry for many years. Ross was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and target shooting. Ross was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Community in Scott. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children whom he cherished, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Andrus, Derrick Aubrey, Michael Auger, Brian Auger, Dane Hebert, and Roddie Hebert.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ethan Guilbeau, Ronnie Kidder, Russell St. Amand and Ben St. Amand.

A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 6:30 PM in Martin & Castille's SCOTT Location.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
