STROMBOM-WARREN - On June 25th 1900, at Pahiatua, by the Rev H. M. B. Marshall, Frederick Duncombe, third son of the late Rev W. H. Strombom of the Bahamas, West Indies, to Bessie Monteith, second daughter of W. A. Warren, of Konini, Pahiatua

A very pleasing ceremony took place at the marton Public School this afternoon, when Mr Strombom, first assistant, was presented by the scholars and teachers with a handsome occasional table and a whatnot as a wedding present. In making the presentation, the headmaster, Mr Mossman, said he was sure he expressed the sincere wish of all when he said that he hoped Mr Strombom's married life would be one of unalloyed happiness. Mr Strombom ackowledged the gift in suitable terms, after which three ringing cheers were given for Mr Strombom and three for Mrs Strombom.
