Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Zion United Church of Christ, Arthur, conducted by Rev. Kenneth Roedder. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with 7:30 p.m. Rebekah service. Burial will be in the Zion Church Cemetery, Arthur. Memorials: Zion United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hansen was born on July 31, 1907, in Garrett Township, the daughter of Hans and Dorathea Ritz Heit, Jr. She was dedicated to community volunteer work. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Mariorretta Rebekah Lodge 347, Bourbon Home Extension, Zion Women's Fellowship, Zion Come Join Us and the Arthur Meals on Wheels. She married William August Claus Hansen on Sept. 21, 1931. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1956.
Surviving are her daughter, Doris Ann Hansen of Arthur; son, John W. Hansen Sr. and wife Sue of Champaign; sister, Mrs. Thelma Korte of Arthur; grandchildren, John W. Hansen Jr. and wife Julie of Champaign; Chad A. Hansen of East Lansing, Mich.; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Mary Kate Hansen of Champaign.
Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by her brother, Orval C. Heit.
