Bob Bigger lived up to his name, as he stood well over 6 feet tall. He was the 5th of 7 children born to his parents, Alexander Napolean Bigger and Mary Ann Mitchem Bigger of Ranlo, NC. He was married to the former Cecelia Freeman. His survivors included his two children: Michael Edward Bigger of Gastonia, NC and Sandra Bigger Mishoe of Conway, SC, and three grandchildren, and two sisters, Eithel Bigger Williams of Ranlo, NC and Helen Bigger McMellon of Fulton, MS. He was a member of Loray Baptist Church in Gastonia. Bob is remembered by his family as a devoted and loving family may who laughed a lot and had a beautiful smile. He always kept a garden and grape vines. He worked for Railway Express. He also was known for trading and selling things to make some "side money" as he called it.
