Theresa Harrington was born to Irene Lacy and Donald Krull. She passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 79.

Theresa was very active in journalism in high school and while raised in the heart of San Francisco she enjoyed all the adventures of the Bay Area. She attended college at the University of California, Berkeley where she met the love of her life, Leonard Harrington. They started their lifelong journey together of 54 years with a romantic meeting under the Campanile. After spending sometime on the East Coast they eventually moved back to California, living in the Bay Area, Modesto and finally settling in Fresno. Unable to have children of their own they decided to expand their family and were blessed with three children through adoption. While Theresa was the ultimate housewife of the 60's she and Leonard were involved in the cutting edge of the Civil Rights movement. She participated in countless activities that included rallies, marches and minority candidate campaigns. She served as a Chair of Deacons in her church of worship when women were just beginning to serve in such roles. Most recently, she became active in the Lion's Club. In the mid seventies, life brought many changes. Theresa moved from a fulltime role at home, to a full partner; in business with Leonard. Theresa was the go to person when it came down to business matters. Together they were a hugely successful team - managing their business from their home, as well as raising their three children, and countless others who happened through their home. The true joy in her life came through listening to Dixieland Jazz music. She and Leonard enjoyed traveling to jazz venues and spending countless amount of hours dancing through the night. Theresa's impeccable dress and grace made her the belle of the ball at every event or activity she attended. Always active in her children's and grandchildren's lives, she attended many sports games, band concerts and plays. She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humor that extended beyond her family to her friends, neighbors and anyone in need.

She will be truly missed by her loving husband Leonard; daughter, Susan Harrington-Howard; son-in-law, Joe Howard; son, Kevin Harrington of Fresno; her son, Timothy Harrington; and daughter-in-law, Gina Buccieri-Harrington of Granite Bay. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kyle, Tom and his wife Samantha, Katy, Michael, and Michelle; and great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Derek Sheehan.

A Celebration of Life was held at Community Congregational Church, Fresno, Ca.
