PAUL RICHARD, 81
White Springs - Mr. Paul Richard Beauchamp, Sr., 81 of White Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home. Mr. Beauchamp was a lifelong resident of White Springs and the middle child of 5 to the late Sam and Ethel Whitefield Beauchamp. He was a graduate of White Springs High School and was a proud 'Lion' alumni. Mr. Beauchamp retired from the Florida Department of Transportation in 1988 with 31 years of service. Hobbies that he enjoyed were cross word puzzles, wood working, fishing, hunting and platting bull whips. Mr. Beauchamp was a man who mastered many skills such as whittling, playing the banjo and many more. He adored his grandchildren and was also a mentor to many youth teaching them life skills. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Barbara Waldron Beauchamp in 2008 and also two brothers, Jerry and Malcolm Beauchamp.
Survivors include his son, P. R. Beauchamp, Jr. (wife), Lake City; two daughters, P/ Hyde (husband), Lake City and B, Willis (husband), Live Oak; one brother, W. Beauchamp (his wife), Chiefland; one sister, I/ Bozeman, Live Oak; seven grandchildren, H. B.Law (her husband ), B. B. Hammock (her husband ), T. Beauchamp (his wife), D. Hyde, R. Newsome, H.Hyde and C. Barrett (husband); seven great grandchildren, D/ Law, R. Law, C. Newsome, J/ Hammock, S. Hammock, G. Barrett and G.Beauchamp also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of White Springs with Bro. Kyle Graham and Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 3-5:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN Funeral Home, Lake City. Please leave words of comfort for the family at
