James "Jim" H. Neu, age 80 of Trenton, OH passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 14, 1927 in Middletown, OH the son of Joseph and Helen Neu. James served in the Navy for 8 years on the USS Wisconsin during World War II. He retired from Armco in 1990 after 38 years of service. He was a member of A New Beginning Church in Middletown. He also belonged to the USS Wisconsin 64BB Association. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Art Curlis and a sister, Catherine Hill. James is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Dottie) of 49 years; three daughters, Donna (Noah) Worley of Franklin, Peggy Richardson of Middletown, and Diana (I.D.) Tyree of Middletown; two grandchildren, Rhonda (Troy) Powell of Iowa and Darla (Jeff) Church of Germantown; three step-grandchildren, Paul, Mark, and Brenda; three great grandchildren; Alexandra, Cynthia, and Brittany. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Bruce Powell officiating at the Anderson Funeral Home (40 North Main Street, Springboro, OH) visitation will be from 12-2 before the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
