Mrs. Blanche Morrison Brown, 64, died at the home of her daughter on Congress Hill Tuesday following an illness of two weeks. She was born Jan. 23, 1873 at Congress Hill, daughter of James and Cecelia Morrison.

She lived all her life in the Congress Hill area, and was admired and respected by a host of friends. She was a member of Congress Hill Church of God.

Forty-four years ago she married R. H. Brown, who survives, with six children, Mrs. Lawrence Knox of Bradford, Mrs. Joseph Dion of New York City, Charles Brown of Congress Hill, Mrs. Roy Heckathorn of Congress Hill, Mrs. Arthur Graham of Nederland, TX, and Harry Brown of Scranton; two brothers, Elmer and Milton Morrison of Franklin.
