DE WITT, Iowa — Services for Milroy William Gast, 54, of 1202 5th St., DeWitt, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the McGinnis Chapel, DeWitt. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mr. Gast, owner of the Candelight Restaurant, DeWitt, died there Monday afternoon of a heart attack.
Born in Princeton, Mr. Gast had been a life resident of Scott County before moving to DeWitt 15 years ago.
He married Dorothy Stichter in Davenport in 1937. The couple had farmed in the area before moving out of town.
Mr. Gast is survived by his wife; daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Beverly) Bowman, Wyoming, Iowa, and Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Erling and Mrs. George (Pat) Sterk, both of DeWitt; four grandchildren; brothers, Milton, Eldridge, and Gene, Dav-enport, and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Elma) Schneckloft, Eldridge.
