Anthony Craig , 84, died Jan. 20, 2006, at Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center.
He was born in New York City and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1997, coming from New Jersey.
Before retirement, he was an aeronautical engineer and consultant, working as a technical writer on government contracts.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.
He received his bachelor's degree from New York University.
He attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gilda Craig of Port St. Lucie; son, Robert Craig of Fort Pierce; daughters, Denise Roth of Port St. Lucie and Laura Hammond of Buck Hills Falls, Pa.; brother, Orest Craig of Oklahoma City; sister, Rosalind Abele of Port St. Lucie; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Community Care, 1209 Delaware Ave., Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Jan. 28 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Byrd, Young and Prill Port St. Lucie Funeral Home.
