Tecumseh resident James C. "Jack" Brock, 75, died Sunday in Oklahoma City. He was born in Tecumseh on December 29, 1925, the son of James C. "Jim" and Ida Alta May Felts Brock.

Brock had attended Tecumseh Schools until his senior year. He graduated from Macomb High School. He worked in construction until his 1988 retirement. He had worked with Jordan Construction Company in Tecumseh for a number of years.

He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Brock was a member of Thompson Heights Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Daisy Porter and two brothers, Cecil Brock and Robert Brock.

Survivors include his wife, Modell Brock, daughters and sons-in-law, MaDonna and James Ellis of Tecumseh and Renee and Steve Knox of Edmond, sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Qualls and Tracey and Lori Qualls, all of Tecumseh and Jim and Kim Qualls of Fort Smith, Arkansas, grandchildren, Stephani Qualls and John Qualls, both of Tecumseh, Heather Qualls of Nashville, Tennessee, Emily Qualls of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Lily Knox of Edmond, Skylar Qualls of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Chloe Qualls of Tecumseh and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Terry Newell will officiate. Burial will be held at Avoca Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
