Judy Carol Ratliff, 73 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Pikeville Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church.
Judy was born June 18, 1949 in Paintsville, KY to the late Robert Wells and Evalene Jackson Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Wells. Judy is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Ratliff of Ashcamp, KY; a son, Ronald W. (Libby) Ratliff of Ashcamp, KY; a daughter, Carol Sue (James) Cordle of Bristol, TN; five grandchildren, Megan Stollings, Emily Thornsberry, Trey Cordle, Nathan Belcher and Lydia Carol Ratliff; and three great-grandchildren, Parker Stollings, Paxton Stollings and Grayson Thornsberry. She is also survived by three brothers, David Wells of Paintsville, KY, and Charles & Ronnie Wells both of Staffordsville, KY and a sister, Sharon Dutton of Staffordsville, KY.
Visitation will be after 6PM Tuesday, January 24 and Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 12PM from the church with Dale Senters, Tracy Wells and Van Swindall officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Cemetery, Sycamore, KY.
