Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Clark was born in Burbank, Ohio on October 8th, 1848. She was the daughter of William B. And Miranda (Zuver) Hower. She was a pioneering resident of Newton. On January 4th, 1882 she was married to James T. Clark who passed away in 1911, she was his second wife. At the time of her death, Anna was survived by her daughter Ida Mae (Clark) Smith and son Roy.
