Lawyer and politician, was elected Representative in 1973 and President of the Chamber of Deputies. Following the resignation of President Hector J. Campora, he was named Provisional President Republic from 13 July to October 12, 1973 untill handing over the power to Juan Domingo Peron. He was the son-in-law of Jose Lopez Rega, then Minister of Social Welfare.
