Henry James Lionel Oakes was born on the 30th April 1879 in Bengal, India to Orbell Henry Oakes and Laura Clifton. He was their first son, and was the Lieutenant in the West Riding Regt. Records show that Henry did indeed marry. His wife was Georgia Anne Napier, and they married on the 21st April 1909. No records of any children, this could be because Georgia was 23 years older than Henry, making her birth 1856. Records also state her name could have been Anne Emily Georgia Napier. On their wedding day she would of been 53, and Henry only 30.
