Frankie Sue Estep, 76, of Gettysburg, PA, formerly of Tremont, IL, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her residence in Gettysburg, PA. She was born September 22, 1946 in Clinton, TN to Frank and Beatrice (Hamby) Ward. She married Donald C. Estep on August 1, 1986 in East Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Don (Donna) Estep, Jr. of Pekin, Scott (Diana) Macklin of Dover, PA, Ty (Dee) Estep of East Peoria, IL, Tim Macklin of Illinois; sister, Nickey (Mike) Rose of Edgewood, WA. and brother, Ben (Beverly) Ward of Durham, NC. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Aubrey Ward; and sister; Fran Nott.

Sue worked in customer service and insurance sales for OSF St. Francis Medical Center for many years. She and Don attended Riverside Community Church in Peoria. After moving to Pennsylvania, they attended Intersection Church in Gettysburg.

A private committal service will take place at Swan Lake Memory Garden in Peoria. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home, Morton, IL, is handling the arrangements.
