Norma Lee Beachy, 67, of Hutchinson, Kansas, died January 16, 2023, at her home. She was born April 17, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Alvin S. and Katie (Helmuth) Beachy.
She attended Elreka School and was a member of the Amish Church. Norma was a cook at the Dutch Kitchen for 25 years, and had a lifelong interest in books and family history.
Survivors include her sisters, Janice (John) Yoder of Hutchinson, and Barbara (Harry) Borntrager of Haven; sister-in-law, Bertha Beachy of Hutchinson; and 16 nieces and nephews, Darrell, Delmar, and Krista Beachy; Jackie Miller, Jean Nolt, Julie Beiler, Joanne Miller, Jill, John T., and Paige Yoder; and Jason Borntrager, Carrie Gingerich, James, Austin, Katrina, and Susanna Borntrager.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Loren Beachy; and a niece, Deborah Borntrager.
Family will greet friends from 5 to 8p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Amish Community Building, 5917 W Mills Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 20, at the Amish Community Building. Burial will follow at the Amish Community Cemetery, Hutchinson.
