Opal Swanson
Opal Iva Swanson, 66, Augusta-area ranch wife, died of natural causes Wednesday in a Great Falls hospital.
Her funeral will be at 4 pm today in the Augusta Community Church. Burial is in Augusta Cemetery. O'Connor Funeral Home is in charge.
Born Opal Goss on April 13, 1922, at Augusta, she attended school there and lived in the community all of her life. She married Bud Swanson on June 17, 1940, in Great Falls.
Survivors include children, Myra Horner of Florence, Darleen Collins of Mills, WY, Linda Hatch, Gene and Bob, both of Augusta ; sister, Ruby Erickson of Augusta; 12 grandchildren.
