Charles David Warren Jr., 78, of Quitman, died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at his residence.

Born on May 28, 1928 in Valdosta, he was the son of the late Charlie David (Dave) Sr. and Mae Presley Warren.

Mr. Warren was the owner and operator of C.D. Warren Construction & Cabinet Works. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn J. Forte Warren of Quitman; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Ernie Gilstrap of Bainbridge; son and daughter-in-law, Charles David III and Lisa Warren of Clarksville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Carrie Gilstrap, Lee Gilstrap, Jenna Warren, Charles Warren IV, Courtnie Warren and Rebecca Warren; sisters, Louelle Barfield of Hahira, Teretha Mixon of Jacksonville, Fla., Hazel Harper and Carolyn Roark both of Valdosta and Jean Gentry of Tampa, Fla.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ella Mae Bellflower and two brothers Samp Warren and Chesley Warren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Morningside Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Robertson officiating.

Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens
