Mrs. Deborah Ann Pittman, 69, of Waycross died Friday evening at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. She was born in Pierce County to the late Joseph Robinson and Julia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smith Robinson. Throughout her life, Mrs. Pittman has made Waycross, Blackshear, and Lyons, Georgia home. She worked for Claxton Chicken, King Edward Cigar Factory, and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Suwannee Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pittman, her step-father, Mose Durrance, and twelve brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her children, Brian Pittman (Teresa) of Vidalia, Jim Pittman of Waycross, Luckie Pittman of Waycross, Sondra Pittman (Terrell) of Waycross; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Pittman, Gage Pittman, Luke Pittman, Onacia Howard, Marcus Howard, Nyshaila Howard, Zachary Edwards, Kaitlyn Hunt, Abbygail Hunt, Aiden Hunt; great grandchild, Braxton McCray, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
