Clarence Glenn Scronce, age 85, of Buffalo Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church with Mr. Donnie Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Scronce was born September 8, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Clarence G. Scronce and Pearl Smith Scronce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Smith Scronce; and two brothers, Kenneth Scronce and Roy Lee Scronce. He worked as a sander.
He is survived by a son, Kelly Scronce (Christine) of Lincolnton; daughter, Rhonda Johnson (Victor) of Maiden; brother, Carol Scronce of Lincolnton; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; close friend, Danny Funderburk; and loving caregiver, Lorrain.
