This is a burial unknown...family legend is that Edna died after the birth of her last child, Clarence. There is a debate whether it was in 1900 or 1901. She was living in the area of Indian Territory that later became Bryan Co., OK. The family story goes that her body was shipped from Indian Territory by train to Greenville, Hunt Co., TX to be buried beside her Father-Edwin Toliver Pitts in the East Mount cemetery. I have been searching for years for facts to back up this family story but, alas I have been unable to find any.
If anyone can find any actual facts to back up this family story, please contact me via Findagrave.
