Born in Camden, NJ., she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. Miller and the late Myra (Studley) Miller. She had 3 brothers, Howard and Albert, who gave their lives fighting for their country in WW2, and F. William who passed in 2009.
Myra graduated from Cambridge High & Latin School in 1937, studied languages at Radcliff College and graduated from there in 1942. She and Richard were married that same year, and at the time of his passing had been together for 66 years.
While living in Fairhaven from 1952 to 2007, she was a member of the Unitarian Church and then the First Congregational Church. She was active in both churches, loved to read and travel, and participated in craft and painting groups , Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the PTA.
In the fall of 2007 she and Richard moved to Addison, Mi, to be near their daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Gail Belman of Addison, Mi; her two sons, Clark E. Bryan of St. Inigoes, Md., and John H. Bryan of Ft. Collins, Co., Eight Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren, and Three Great Great Grandchildren; a nephew, Robert Morrill of Florida, and a niece, Jane Morrill of Arizona.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be at 11am on Friday Oct 6 in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Mass., with a prayer service at the graveside.
