Mrs. Blanche Kathryne Williams Causey, 85, of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Henry Etta & Bruce Hinkle Hospice House. She was born on September 20, 1937 in Horry County, SC to George Allard Williams and Edna Elnita Fowler Williams.

She worked for many years at Thomasville Furniture Industries Plant D and was a member of Testimonial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Corbie "J.C." Causey on March 16, 1980, whom she married on July 26, 1953; her son, John Wesley Causey; her daughters, Bonnie Sue Beck and Melissa Hunt; brothers, George Williams and Austin Williams; sister, Mildred Williams Hall; granddaughter, Mandy Luck; and grandson, Preston Luck.

Surviving are her two daughters; son; three brothers; three sisters; son-in-law; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Jimmy Causey officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and at other times at the home.
