Johnnie Vene Cottle of Beeville, Texas passed away in a Houston, Texas Care facility, on Monday August 28th, 2017 at age of 77 years. He was born August 14th, 1940 in Fredericksburg, Texas, the son of Omer Victor Cottle and Inez Patricia Silvers Cottle, married Linda S. Maurer on November 25th, 1970 in Austin, Texas. Worked Baroid-Haliburton Company as a Drilling Fluids Engineer.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda, daughter, Michelle "Missy" Taylor, Sister, Kay Sallee.
Johnnie is survived by two daughters, one son & spouses, Tara & Michael Fenton of Spring, Texas,
Tighe & Eliana Cottle of Houston, Trisha Cottle Zertuche of Beeville, Texas, eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Pastor Scott Hofmann officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Harper Community Cemetery in Harper, Texas.
Those who so desire may make memorials in memory to the charity of their choice.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 to 11:00 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg prior to services.
