Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Edgar Johnson-W. Carl Davis and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Willis, pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Peniel Cemetery with Pineland Lodge No. 87, F&AM, conducting the graveside rites.
The deceased was a lifelong resident of Putnam County and a member of Peniel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hattie Elizabeth Barber Smith, Francis; one son, Floyd Lee Smith, Palatka; one daughter, Mrs. Alta Ruth Matchett, Francis; one brother, Joseph Smith, Peniel; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Rosette Smith Stacey of Peniel and Mrs. Ada M.
