Sam Christenberry, 94, Rt. 1, Stella Community, died Thursday at 6:50 p.m. at Westview Nursing Home. His wife, Beulah [sic], died April 1, 1969.
A retired farmer, he was a member of West Fork Baptist Church. Born June 19, 1888, in Calloway County, he was the son of the late John Christenberry and Ada Ray Christenberry.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bronzie Christenberry [sic], Rt. 1; two sons, S. E. Christenberry, Farmington Hills, Mich., and Dwight Christenberry, Hazel Park, Mich.
Also surviving are five grandchildren including Larry Young and Mrs. Wayburn (Brenda) Wyatt, Rt. 1; four great grandchildren.
J. H. Churchill Funeral Home will be in charge of funeral and burial arrangements.
