Mr. Anderson was born December 20, 1933 in Wilkes County to Robert Glenn Anderson, Sr. and Jettie Anderson.
He was a US Army Veteran.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bertha Wood Anderson; son, Larry Lee Anderson; brothers, Eugene Mathis, Arnold Anderson and Archie Anderson; and sisters, Martha Bolick, Kathalene Whisenant and Delia Lail.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Pat Goforth and spouse Kim of Purlear, Angie Anderson and spouse Dean of Jonesville, Cindy Anderson of North Wilkesboro; grandsons, Allen Anderson of Jonesville, Dustin Goforth of Purlear; great granddaughter, Abbie Freeman; brothers, Arvil Anderson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Gurney Anderson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Funeral service will be held at Little Mountain Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
