Rosalie Anna "Rose" Oursler, 87, of Marriottsville, formerly of Randallstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at her home. Born Sept. 30, 1920, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Martin Joseph and Rose Anna Czarnecka Antkowiak. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Oursler Sr. She had worked in retail sales at Hutzler's for many years. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Nancy Oursler of Sykesville; grandchildren Lisa Oursler of New Jersey and Susan Messina-Jones of Sykesville; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Messina of Sykesville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph C. Oursler Jr.; a daughter, Rose Marie Oursler; brothers and sisters-in-law John and Alma Antkowiak, Stanley "Jim" and Lucille Antkowiak, and Bill and Leonard Antkowiak; and sisters Mary Wright and Helen Palasik. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
